• 🌿 Wash Care – Naturally Dyed Indigo Saree

• This saree is dyed using natural indigo, a traditional plant-based dyeing process. Due to the nature of natural dyes, slight color release during the initial washes is expected and is not a defect.

  To care for your saree:

  • Wash separately for the first few washes
  • Use cold water only
  • Add a handful of rock salt or a splash of white vinegar during the first wash
  • Use mild, pH-neutral liquid detergent (after initial washes)
  • Avoid soaking for long durations
  • Dry in shade, away from direct sunlight
  • Iron on low to medium heat

  ⚠️ Natural Dye Disclaimer

  Natural indigo does not fully bind to fabric like synthetic dyes. As a result:

  • Color transfer may occur initially, even on touch
  • Slight staining on skin, nails, or light-colored fabrics is normal in the first few uses
  • This will reduce gradually after a few washes

   

  We recommend avoiding pairing with light-colored garments or accessories during the first few wears.
